Job Vacancy – Assistant Office Coordinator
- Receive and action general enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Enter sales in MYOB, and issue invoices
- Collate orders and dispatch by post
- Order and receipt in stock
- Assist with the maintenance and distribution of outgoing communications
- Provide direction and assistance to on-site volunteers
- Pay invoices (subject to approval) and execute transaction in MYOB
- Execute other transactions in MYOB (including Pathfinder sub-account) subject to level of training
- Receive and record ad hoc cash donations
- Undertake in person bank transactions
- Undertake scheduled bank reconciliations
- Act as Secretary for the CSO Steering Committee and Reps Meetings in the absence of the Office Coordinator
- Provide reports to the Steering Committee and Reps Meetings in the absence of the Office Coordinator regarding the functioning of the CSO
- Distribute and file relevant agendas, minutes and reports
- Knowledge of AA’s Steps, Traditions and Concepts
- Knowledge of in-person banking procedures
- Knowledge of digital banking procedures
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping
- Knowledge of CSO Constitution and standing orders
- Intermediate skills using MS Office
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled at stocktaking
- Skilled at conducting Bank Reconciliations
- Experience with MYOB, XERO or more sophisticated Enterprise Resource Planning software
- Tertiary or vocational training in administration or related field
Service Position Available – 7th Tradition Chairperson
Sobriety length: Two years minimum
Rotation Term: Two years
- Organise FUN and fund-raising activities through organising sub-committees,
- Where possible and convenient, attend AA meetings, weekends, rallies, conventions and other functions,
- Arrange beforehand with function and rally organisers for permission to have a literature table at events and liase with CSO on managing literature table,
- Attend monthly Steering Committee meetings (on Zoom) and quarterly CSO Reps meetings in Annerley, and
- Provide written reports to Steering Committee and CSO Reps.
Nominations taken at the next CSO Reps meeting on Sunday 9 February. You must be a CSO Rep or Alternate CSO Rep for your group to nominate.
You are welcome to attend a Steering Committee meeting as an observer to see how it operates.
