DESCRIPTION:Job Vacancy  –  Administration Assistant \nThis is permanen
 t part time paid position. (Typically\, 2 days a week)\n\nThe CSO Administ
 ration Assistant supports the Office Coordinator in the running of the Cen
 tral Service Office. To that end\, the Administration Assistant must be pr
 oficient in all aspects of running a small office that includes retail act
 ivities. Given the services the office provides\, the role requires a thor
 ough and practical understanding of Alcoholic Anonymous’ Steps\, Traditi
 ons and Concepts. As the CSO employs a limited number of staff\, it is exp
 ected that within reason\, the role will cover for the Office coordinator 
 in times of planned and unplanned absence. More specifically your duties w
 ill include the following:\n\n 	Receive and action general enquiries by ph
 one\, email and in person\n 	Enter sales in MYOB\, and issue invoices\n 	C
 ollate orders and dispatch by post\n 	Order and receipt in stock\n 	Assist
  with the maintenance and distribution of outgoing communications\n 	Provi
 de direction and assistance to on-site volunteers\n 	Pay invoices (subject
  to approval) and execute transaction in MYOB\n 	Execute other transaction
 s in MYOB (including Pathfinder sub-account) subject to level of training\
 n 	Receive and record ad hoc cash donations\n 	Undertake in person bank tr
 ansactions\n 	Undertake scheduled bank reconciliations\n 	Act as Secretary
  for the CSO Steering Committee and Reps Meetings in the absence of the Of
 fice Coordinator\n 	Provide reports to the Steering Committee and Reps Mee
 tings in the absence of the Office Coordinator regarding the functioning o
 f the CSO\n 	Distribute and file relevant agendas\, minutes and reports\n\
 nIn determining suitability for the role\, the following criteria are cons
 idered essential:\n\n 	Knowledge of AA’s Steps\, Traditions and Concepts
 \n 	Experience with MYOB software (or XERO or similar software)\n 	Knowled
 ge of in-person banking procedures\n 	Knowledge of digital banking procedu
 res\n 	Basic understanding of bookkeeping\n 	Knowledge of CSO Constitution
  and standing orders\n 	Intermediate skills using MS Office\n 	Intermediat
 e verbal and written communication skills\n 	Skilled at stocktaking\n 	Ski
 lled at conducting Bank Reconciliations\n\nThe following criteria are cons
